Fairfax Campus Notice: Parking Lot Paving and Closures

This summer, parking areas on the Fairfax Campus will be milled, paved, and striped. The following schedule is subject to change based on weather and existing conditions. Signage about closures will be posted at parking lot entrances.

Week of May 13:

  • Lot J will be closed May 13–15. Lot J permitholders may use any of the general permit areas.
  • Washington lot in Presidents Park will be closed May 13–14.
  • Ike’s loading dock will be closed May 13–27 for concrete repairs.
  • Aquatic and Fitness Center parking lot will be closed on May 14.
  • Art and Design Building parking lot/Nguyen Engineering Building parking lot will be closed on May 14.
  • Lot T will be closed on May 16.
  • NE Module parking lot will be closed on May 16.
  • Eastern Shore parking lot will be closed on May 16.
  • Roberts House parking lot will be closed on May 17.

Week of May 27:

  • Lot R will be closed from May 28 to June 3.
  • Merten Hall accessible parking spaces will be closed May 28–29.
  • Merten Hall 30-minute lot will be closed May 28–29.

Week of June 10:

  • Johnson Center loading dock will be closed June 12– 13.

Week of June 24:

  • Lot C will be closed June 24–28
  • Lot A (west side, closer to EagleBank Arena) will be closed June 24–27

Week of July 1:

  • Lot A (east side, closer to Nottoway River Lane) will be closed July 1–5

Week of July 22:

  • Lot K (half of lot) will be closed July 22–26

Week of July 29:

  • Lot K (back half of lot) will be closed July 29 to August 2.
  • EagleBank Arena loading dock will be closed on July 29.
  • Johnson Center loading dock will be closed on July 29.

Large sections of Lot I will be closed from approximately mid-June to mid-August for a drainage improvement project.
