On Friday, Oct. 27, the 30-Minute Parking Lot in front of Merten Hall will be closed from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the annual Life Safety Fair on the Merten Lawn. The event will feature interactive exhibits and demonstrations, including a drone, Mason Police's armored vehicle, a fire extinguisher simulator, and more. The event will include a helicopter landing on the Merten Lawn around 11 a.m.
Also on Friday, Oct. 27, is the Once Upon a Scream event hosted by the Office of Student Involvement around the Fenwick Library lawn area from 7–11 p.m. Chesapeake River Lane will close at 2 p.m. to all parking and traffic, except disabled parking near Commonwealth Hall.
