Robinson Hall Replacement
Week of Feb. 24:
- Continue installation of spray on fireproofing nearing completion on Floor 6 and roof areas.
- Continue installation of overhead mechanical/plumbing on Floors 1–5.
- Continue installation of hollow metal steel framing on Floors 3–5.
- Continue installation of exterior metal stud framing for building envelop.
- Continue installation of final stair and pour concrete in all existing stair towers.
- Continue to erect scaffolding and begin installation of exterior sheathing on south and east sides of building.
Week of March 1:

Utility Infrastructure Project
Week of Feb. 24:
- Continue earthwork and grading to prep for framing and installation of new concrete sub slab/paver base in Phase 3 areas (Wilkins Plaza east extension). Concrete under slab prep work to continue in Phase 3 area.
- Continue trenching, pipe installation, and backfill in Phase 4 areas (Central Heating and Cooling Plant south toward Presidents Park); increased activity for the next several weeks in the area directly southwest of Central Heating and Cooling Plant.
- Continue backfill and site restoration in Phase 4 areas between Southside and Central Heating and Cooling Plant area along Rivanna River Lane.
- Intermittent closures will be required to complete restoration of areas where pipe installation is completed over next several weeks.
- Continue site restoration and concrete walk repairs in the area of Rivanna River Lane and Patriot Circle.
- Continue trench excavation and pipe installation in Phase 5 areas (East Plaza between the Johnson Center and David King and Enterprise halls). Path closures overnight and on weekends to support upcoming spring break outage in Planetary and Exploratory halls.
Week of March 1:
