Robinson Hall Replacement
Week of November 11:
- Continue with possible completion of steel erection—this is weather dependent—currently tracking completion for this week.
- Offsite work is progressing on coordination and inspections of prefabricated electrical rooms that are being fabricated offsite in a warehouse facility in southern Virginia.
- Continue installation of elevated underfloor, mechanical, electrical, and telecom utilities.
- Continue installation of metal panel and installation of screen wall on building elevation mock up.
- Continue installation of underground utilities on north and south ends of new building.
- Prep for concrete slab on deck pour, Floor 6, south section
- Continue layout of partitions on Floor 5.
- Continue installation of overhead mechanical/plumbing on Floors 1 and 2.
- If steel erection is completed during this week, possible crane removal over weekend of Nov. 16–18. This is dependent on weather and completion of steel framing.
- Continue installation of exterior metal stud framing for building envelop.
Week of November 18:
- Complete steel erection, if weather conditions prohibit finish during previous week.

- Architect and owner final review and approval of building elevation mock up.
- Continue installation of underground utilities on north and south ends of new building.
- Prep for concrete slab on deck pour, Floor 6, north section.
- Start layout of partitions on Floor 6.
- Continue installation of overhead mechanical/plumbing on Floors 1 and 2.
- Begin installation of hollow metal steel framing on Floors 1 and 2.
- If steel erection is complete this week, crane will be removed over weekend of Nov. 23–25.
- Continue installation of exterior metal stud framing for building envelop.
Utility Infrastructure Project
Week of November 11:
- Continue to excavate for new underground electrical and telecom for future Wilkins Plaza event power, light poles, and Wi-Fi.
- Continue work on new concrete serpentine wall and other site walls in Phase 3 (Wilkins Plaza extension east) area.
- Begin earthwork and grading to prep for new concrete base slab.
- Pipe delivery continues for Phase 4 (Southside east to Central Heating and Cooling Plant) areas.
- Continue trenching and pipe installation in Phase 4; increased activity for the next several weeks in the area directly east of Southside Dining as work begins on installation of a new underground chilled water pipe manifold.
- Closure of Rivanna River Road as pipe is delivered and installed in Phase 4 areas. This closure will continue through November 24. This work has been delayed a bit due to unforeseen underground conditions and pipe manufacturing problems.
- Begin site restoration and concrete walk repairs in the area of Rivanna River Lane and Patriot Circle.
Week of November 18:
