Robinson Hall Replacement
Week of July 15:
- Complete backfill of new foundation walls.
- Continue installation of underground mechanical and plumbing work on north end of building footprint.
- Continue to pour slab on grade for lowest level of new building on north end of building footprint.
- Complete punch list items for landscape and hardscape restoration of site around Harris Theatre.
- Procurement of materials for full scale building envelop mock up.
- Finalize crane installation and take delivery of new steel for building structure. Begin steel erection on north end of building moving south and then up to floor two and repeat for six floors.
- Continue underground utility installation on northeast corner of new building site. This work will be impacting pedestrian walkways during overnight work.
Week of July 22:

- Continue site restoration in Phase 1A (Aquia Creek Lane), 1B Johnson Center South Plaza, and 2B (West Building) areas.
- Continue hardscape and landscape punch list in Phase 1 (Aquia Creek Lane, Johnson Center South Plaza, EagleBank Arena) and 2 (Music/Theatre, West Building) areas.
- Finalize re-install of site lighting in Phase 1 and 2 areas.
- Continue trenching and pipe installation in Phase 3 areas (Wilkins Plaza extension from clock to Southside Plaza).
- Pipe delivery to begin for phase 4 (Southside east to Central Heating and Cooling Plant) and 6 (near Commonwealth and Dominion Halls) areas.
- Continue trenching in Phase 4 areas.
- Continue trenching in Phase 6 areas.
