The sidewalk between the fencing on Wilkins Plaza and the fencing around the Robinson A construction site will close overnight from 10:30 p.m. to 6 a.m., April 8-14, to accommodate the installation of chilled water piping as part of the Core Campus Project.
To reach the west side of Wilkins Plaza (toward the Mason statue), pedestrians coming from the north end of campus will detour to Aquia Creek Lane through the Mason Pond Parking Deck or Harris Theatre.
Pedestrians coming from the east end of campus will detour toward David King Hall along Rivanna River Way.
Detour signs will be posted during the closures.
