Mason students, faculty, and staff are reminded that traffic on and around the Fairfax Campus will increase during the first few weeks of the fall semester. The following serves as a campus parking and transportation guide to help minimize potential parking and traffic delays.
Drivers are advised to allow an extra 30–45 minutes to arrive on campus during the first few weeks of classes. Though some parking spaces might be more convenient to your destination, the Fairfax Campus has more than enough total parking spaces to accommodate all vehicles. However, many general parking permit areas are expected to fill at peak class times.
Note: A valid parking permit is required to park outside of visitor areas.
